I am heartbroken that I will be going back to work in two weeks. I have really enjoyed my summer with Eddie and Caroline. I am glad that we were able to spend our summer on several trips. He really enjoyed his beach time- independently for the most part which was nice so that I could soak up the sun. I called him over to take a picture with me. I am laying in my new beach chair. Jeremy bought us chairs that we really will enjoy over the years. We certainly plan on another beach trip next summer.

My precious baby. She was so beachy. I have never given so many baths in such little time. They averaged three a day. We were not on board with "no bath Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...."or anyday of the week for that matter! Jeremy and I started "No bath Friday" awhile ago. However once Eddie started school we eliminated the tradition. Sometimes he might pull a No Bath Saturday.

Eddie and his best buddy spent a lot of time digging in the sand. What a joy to watch.

They spent a lot of time in the pool together as well. Eddie is building the confidence he needs to start swimming.

He even let Jeremy throw him a few feet in front of him. He even started to jump into the pool. He did great. He told me that he was learning how to swim.

I am not going to post another sequence but while we were waiting for Jeremy to come up from the beach to pass the time we sang Sweet Caroline. She sings along with us now. It is really cute. The action sequence simply shows her mouthing the sounds and her feet moving positions.
